When Nicole M. Hewitt was 12 years old, she decided to attempt a back flip off a diving board while at a pool party with friends. Unfortunately, her amateur skills were not sufficient to successfully complete the attempt. She sustained a whiplash injury when her head impacted the diving board on her way to the water.

Fortunately, her family chiropractor had plenty of experience with such injuries and was able to help return to her normal activities quickly. After her experiences with chiropractic care, she decided that she, too, would like to help people the way her chiropractor had helped her.

Dr. Hewitt now aids people as they overcome battles with pain as well as helping them to maintain optimal health through nutrition and lifestyle changes. She joined Lake Jackson Chiropractic in October 2003.

Dr. Hewitt is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and of Cleveland Chiropractic College, Kansas City's Alumni Association. She also serves the chiropractic profession by acting as Legislative Director for the Texas Chiropractic Association's District 11.

Lake Jackson Chiropractic is housed in a 1,800 sq .ft. facility, with individual therapy rooms, active and passive therapy rooms and two Chiropractic treatment rooms. Dr. Billy M. Winkles purchased the practice from Dr. Orr in October 2002.
